Free to Feed
Who are Free to Feed?
Founded by Emily Louise Slough, who was targeted by internet bullies after a photograph was taken without permission, of her breast feeding her baby daughter in public. Free to Feed is now a globally recognised campaign group who are campaigning against the discrimination of breastfeeding mothers.
Every mother has the right to feed her baby with pride and in confidence.
Stop the hate. Stop the ignorance. Let's normalise public breast feeding once and for all and give women the 'freedom to feed' in confidence, free from shame, and discrimination
Don't forget to 'like' our Facebook page to get involved and make a difference!
- We aim to have the law changed to make it a criminal offense for any person to discriminate against any breast feeding mother
-To gain funding and distribute breast feeding friendly stickers, which can be displayed in public places to encourage and instill confidence in nursing mothers
-We aim to train Free to Feed peer supporters and establish a network of breast feeding councellors and support workers initially all over the UK, and then globally
